This is suitable for the person who lives alone and has some degree of orientation and balancing problem.
Generally, carers will have basic care experience but all the mandatory training. That covers all key parts of the Care Certificate, recognised by the Care Quality Commission.
This is what differentiates us from other live-in care providers.
Complex care, also known as long-term care or continuing care, is given to service users with significant, continuing healthcare issues such as chronic illness and disabilities.
These healthcare issues could include brain damage, spinal cord injuries, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, Gastrostomy feed needs such as PEG Epilepsy, and learning disability.
Complex care requires the carer to be proficient with specific caring training, training completed mostly at dedicated training centres and months of shadowing with senior carers to gain experience. Although providing complex care, carers would also consider facilitating service users to lead independent, active, and fulfilled lives whenever possible.
